LONDON - The Department of Health and the Department for Children, Schools and Families have handed their sexual health advertising account to VCCP.

The agency picked up the business following a shoot-out against M&C Saatchi. The pitch was handled by COI.

DLKW, the incumbent on the account, and Leo Burnett were also involved in the pitch but were knocked out at an earlier stage.

The agency will be briefed with creating campaigns aimed at educating young people about teenage pregnancy, sexual health and contraception.

The work will involve engaging a broader audience including teachers, parents, young people and health workers.

The result follows the appointment of Profero to the digital business last week. At the same time, Naked was retained to the media business.
