Vince Vaughn, Tom Wilkinson and Dave Franco subjects of Getty stock-shots

English luvvie Tom Wilkinson and US actors Vince Vaughn and Dave Franco are the unlikely stars of a series of cheesily-staged and self-deprecating Getty Images stock-photos being used to promote 20th Century Fox comedy 'Unfinished Business'.

But the resulting pictoral selection of besuited types self-consciously pointing at PowerPoint charts and grinning inanely at nothing in particular are not just promoting the new comedy movie.

Getty is letting businesses download the series to use for free to sex up their drab corporate "literature" and company accounts. "Work presentations have never been so entertaining," says Getty. "Bring the stars of Unfinished Business to work with a free limited edition series of stock images from iStock from Getty Images".

The film was released in the US on 6 March. It centres around a small-business owner played by Vaughn and his two business associates, played by Wilkinson and Franco, who travel to Europe to close the most important deal of their lives, but who inadvertently become embroiled in various shenanigans at a sex fetish event and global economic summit.

The campaign is not the first time that Getty has demonstrated a willingness to take the piss out of its own product offering.

Last year, McCann London worked with the company on a campaign featuring an array of creative talent, including former AKQA chief creative officer, and co-founder, James Hilton.
