Warner reviews DM and creative briefs

LONDON - The hotel and resort company Warner Breaks is reviewing its creative and direct marketing business.

The company is understood to be in talks with seven agencies and will draw up a shortlist of three. Agencies have been asked to develop ideas for an integrated campaign.

Mustoes is the incumbent for Warner Breaks and works on a project basis.

Warner Breaks is part of the Bourne Leisure Group that owns Butlins, Haven and British Holiday. It also owns 13 hotels. The company offers short breaks with outdoor activities and live entertainment.

This month, Warner Breaks appointed E-RM to handle its e-mail DM campaigns for the over-50s market. E-RM will develop a campaign sending new customers welcome emails and regular customers e-mail newsletters.

Separately, the company appointed the digital creative agency Sonaa in February and is preparing a digital marketing blitz to boost online bookings by 35 per cent.

Jane McIvor, the marketing director at Warner Breaks who is overseeing the review, was unavailable for comment as Campaign went to press.
