In an interview with Campaign, Nicky Bullard, the executive creative director at Lida, said the team did not think it would win again.
She said: "We were genuinely gobsmacked [when we found out we had won]. After winning it last year I don’t think we ever believed we really could [win again].
"We had our heads down and worked really hard. We were absolutely delighted.
"You work with brilliant people and know how wonderful they are and for the industry to recognise it too is just great.
"Last year when we won we thought we really had to do something different and we were pushing and pushing on discipline, and we’ll be doing the same thing next year and obviously we are on for a hat trick."
Bullard also said she hopes the double win will attract new talent in the agency.
