The Week: Advertising news - 3 makes complaint to ASA

The mobile operator 3 has complained to the Advertising Standards Authority about T-Mobile's new TV campaign, on the basis that its claim that "you won't find more minutes for £30, guaranteed" is untrue.

Its parent company, Hutchison 3G, says the claim constitutes comparative advertising and in breach of the Advertising Standards Authority's Committee of Advertising Practice code because 3 offers more minutes for £27 than T-Mobile does for £30.
