The Week: Advertising News - Brylcreem unveils new star

Brylcreem has launched a new TV campaign for its b: range of products, by WCRS, featuring an actor and band recruited via a campaign on MySpace. The men's hairstyling brand asked consumers to upload videos of themselves on to a Brylcreem profile page, from which it selected Sam Veale to appear in the ad. He performs a range of tricks to support the brand's b: effortless positioning.
