The Week: Advertising news - Drink-driving ads launched

The Department for Transport has launched a £1.6 million TV and radio campaign, created by Leo Burnett, to remind drivers that a drink-driving conviction stays on your licence for 11 years.

The ads give examples of other things people will do in the 11 years, such as breathing enough air to fill 20 hot air balloons, drinking 36 bathtubs of water and sweating enough to fill 1,612 fish tanks.
