The Week: Advertising news - 'Kids on TV' rules reviewed

The Government is reviewing the 40-year-old rules that govern children who appear on television to improve existing safeguards.

The Department for Children Schools and Families denied the decision to review the regulations was in response to scenes of young contestants crying on the talent show Britain's Got Talent. The public consultation is in July.
