The Week: Advertising News - Lunghi to star in M&S ads

Cherie Lunghi, the Secret Diary of a Call Girl actress who appeared in this year's Strictly Come Dancing, has agreed to front a new Marks & Spencer campaign that will run in the New Year, according to reports.

Lunghi, who was voted off the BBC dancing contest last week, is the former face of Kenco coffee, and starred in a series of ads over nine years during the 90s. She will be the latest in a long line of female celebrities to appear in Marks & Spencer campaigns, with Myleene Klass, Lily Cole and Twiggy all starring in recent ads for the retailer.
