The Week: Advertising news - School rules reviewed

The Government's review into the commercialisation of childhood is to investigate the policy of allowing companies to link up with schools by sponsoring school sport, music classes and homework clubs, by setting up sponsored academies or by allowing vending machines on school premises. The review will be led by David Buckingham, a professor at the Institute of Education at the University of London.
