The city of Bath has appointed the Bristol-based Halo Media to a brief to boost visitor numbers.

The city, which boasts a Roman heritage and a modern shopping centre, attracts more than 4.5 million visitors a year. Marie Mathews, the Bath Tourism Plus marketing manager, said: "Halo's proposal has cleverly bridged all aspects of our brand in a truly powerful manner." Halo already handles promotional work for the counties of Somerset and Worcester and the city of Bristol.
