The Week: Agency news - Poster revenues to be hit

Outdoor agencies are facing a loss in revenue as car advertisers seek to move spend away from the medium to avoid the Department for Transport rules that will force them to include CO2-emission and fuel-economy information on posters. The DfT has announced that it is broadening its definition of "promotional literature", which must include CO2 and fuel information, to cover outdoor advertising along with print.
