BBDO will work with its sister agency, Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, the lead global agency for the brand, to develop its "What do you have to say?" campaign.
BBDO executives have been in talks with HP in New York about extending Omnicom's relationship with the group since February (Campaign, 29 February).
Publicis, which previously handled the imaging and printing products account, will now work on its recently awarded digital assignment only. The agency will also continue to handle advertising for HP's personal services division on a global basis.
Under the terms of the new relationship, BBDO will create a new digital print supply chain using HP technology and services, and will use it to produce advertising campaigns for its other clients, in a bid to offer them reduced printing costs.
