The Week: Brand news - Unilever offloads Bertolli

Unilever has sold Bertolli olive oils and vinegars to Grupo SOS, Spain's second largest food company, for EUR630 million (£500 million) as part of its ongoing disposal of non-core assets.

Unilever will retain ownership of Bertolli margarine, pasta sauce and frozen meals, while Grupo SOS will take the worldwide licence for oils and vinegars branded with the Bertolli, Italian Maya, Dante and San Giorgio names.
