The Week: City News - Emap sells Irish stations

Emap has sold its Republic of Ireland radio stations to Communicorp, an Irish radio group, for EUR200 million (£135 million). The sale comprises three stations with a combined operating profit of £7 million in the year to 31 March 2007. Meanwhile, Emap has bought Torcello Publishing, the owner of the construction finance magazine Infrastructure Journal, for £20 million.
