The Week: City news - Realtime Worlds sells stake

WPP Group has bought a minority stake in Realtime Worlds, a Scottish software company that specialises in developing videogames, for £4.1 million.

Realtime developed the Xbox 360 game Crackdown, which won two gaming Baftas in 2007. WPP's interest in the gaming sector was first established in 2006, when it bought a stake in the online games company WildTangent.
