The Week: City News - WPP growth modest

WPP fell short of analyst expectations in the third quarter of 2007, reporting like-for-like revenue growth up 4.9 per cent to £1.48 billion, short of City forecasts of 5.5 per cent. In the UK, revenues improved from 3.7 per cent growth in the first half of the year to 5 per cent in the third quarter. The company's share price fell by more than 5 per cent on the news.
