The Week: Media news - Anheuser changes media

Anheuser-Busch, the drinks giant that owns the Budweiser brand and acquired InBev last year, is planning to change the payment terms it applies to media suppliers.

It wants to adopt the payment period used by InBev, which involves paying suppliers after 120 days rather than the standard 30. Anheuser-Busch has written to suppliers to ask them to notify it in writing if they cannot match terms and said it would consider using "alternative suppliers" if terms are not agreed.
