The Week: Media news - BGT gives ITV.com hit boost

ITV.com had a record month in May with total video views rising 528 per cent to more than 55 million.

The year-on-year increase was boosted by viewing of Britain's Got Talent content during the month, including more than six million views on Sunday, the day after ITV broadcast the final of the show. The ITV1 broadcast of Britain's Got Talent attracted a peak audience of 19.2 million on Saturday night.
