The Week: Media News - Cut-price Sun's sales slip

The Sun's 20p cut-price strategy in London helped the paper post a marginal increase in the September ABCs, but could not stop a small year-on-year decline.

The paper, which reduced its coverprice from 35p to 20p in a bid to stop circulation slipping below three million, recorded an increase of 1.76 per cent to 3,213,756 in September, but a fall of 0.1 per cent year on year.
