The Week: Media News - The Guardian ups its price

The Guardian is to increase its cover price by 10p to £1.

The move, effective from 7 September, brings The Guardian's cover price into line with The Independent but will make it 10p more expensive than The Times and The Daily Telegraph. The Guardian's Saturday edition will increase in price by 20p to £1.90.
