The Week: Media news - ITV signs series sponsors

ITV has signed Toyota, Carling and Churchill Insurance to sponsor three of its series.

Toyota will sponsor all ITV1 primetime and daytime mystery dramas, including Foyle's War, Poirot and Wire in the Blood, in a deal brokered by ZenithOptimedia. Carling will support movies on ITV2, ITV3 and ITV4, while Churchill has agreed to sponsor the ITV1 gameshow Beat the Star, hosted by Vernon Kay.
