The Week: Media news - TfL freesheet deal unlikely

Transport for London has said it is "highly unlikely" that it will launch an afternoon freesheet distribution contract, as Metro's ten-year contract for the morning distribution of newspapers comes up for tender this year. It is thought that TfL will issue a shorter contract for a bigger fee when the deal ends in March 2010.
