The Week: Media news - Times to extend scheme

The Times is extending its membership rewards scheme beyond Culture+ under the launch of an umbrella brand called Times+, which will give its readers extras such as gifts, rewards and entry to events.

The scheme will cost non-subscribers £50 and will be free to subscribers of the paper. Separately, The Times is launching a monthly science magazine called Eureka. The magazine, which focuses on scientific and environmental issues, will be launched with a weekday copy of The Times, supported by advertisers including BAE Systems.
