The Week: Media News - TV adspend set to drop

TV broadcasters should be preparing themselves for a significant decline in adspend, according to new figures from Billetts and ZenithOptimedia, both of which predict sharp drops next year.

Billetts expects a fall of between 9 and 10 per cent over the first half of 2009, while Zenith forecasts that ad revenues for the main terrestrial channels will drop 7 per cent in 2009.
