The Week: Media News - YouTube deal on royalties

YouTube and the Performing Right Society for Music, the body that looks after royalty payments for musicians, have come to a renewed licensing agreement that will signal the return of music videos to the online video streaming site.

Thousands of videos were removed from the site in 2008 after the last licensing agreement came to an end, but the new deal over the royalties musicians receive per view will now run until June 2012.
