The Week: Media Reviews - Standard appoints Walker

The Evening Standard has appointed Walker Media to handle its media planning and buying account.

Walker won the business following a pitch process that was triggered by the title's acquisition by the Russian oligarch Alexander Lebedev. The incumbent, Starcom MediaVest Group, held the Standard account as part of its relationship with Associated Newspapers, the previous majority-owner of the London title.
