The Week: People news - Bradshaw nets culture post

The Health Minister, Ben Bradshaw, has replaced Andy Burnham as the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport.

Burnham, who has held the position since January 2008, has been promoted to Health Secretary. Gordon Brown's cabinet reshuffle comes at an important time for the DCMS as it looks to publish the final Digital Britain report. Bradshaw is the MP for Exeter and a former BBC journalist.
