The Week: People News - Five's Opie given wider remit

Lisa Opie, the managing director of content at five, is to take responsibility for marketing and advertising after the broadcaster decided not to replace its marketing director, Jane Scott, who resigned two weeks ago.

The research and insight team will now move into the sales department, reporting to the director of knowledge, David Harrison, while responsibility for website extensions will move into a newly created digital division run by Jon Lewis, the head of digital media.
