The Week: People news - Grade's income revealed

ITV paid its executive chairman, Michael Grade, a total package of nearly £2 million in 2007.

His basic salary of £813,000 was boosted by a £967,000 bonus, according to ITV's annual report. Other benefits took his total for the year to £1,934,000. Rupert Howell, the managing director of brand and commercial, was paid a basic salary of £450,000.
