The Week: People News - Virgin chief joins Capital

Paul Jackson, the chief executive of Virgin Radio, has left the company and followed his former boss, Fru Hazlitt, to Capital Radio.

Jackson will be the managing director at Capital, reporting to Hazlitt, who left Virgin in January to become the managing director of London stations for GCap, Capital's parent company. The new Virgin Radio chairman, Richard Huntingford, said the company's planned stock market flotation was unlikely to proceed until a new chief executive was in place.
