The Week: People News - Wren pay falls 72 per cent

John Wren, the chief executive of Omnicom Group, received $2.95 million in compensation in 2008, including a $1 million salary, according to figures filed in the company's annual proxy statement. Wren's overall pay packet, which is made up of stocks, perquisites and a bonus, fell 72 per cent on 2007, when he received $10.39 million.
