Weetabix schedules £14m centralisation of creative accounts

Weetabix is reviewing its £14 million creative accounts,

shared by three agencies. The accounts are expected to be centralised

into one agency.

Lowe Lintas, Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and Banks Hoggins O'Shea/FCB will

pitch, and sources also suggest the pitch may involve a fourth,

non-roster, agency.

Bill Humes, the commercial director at Weetabix, said: "In line with

continuous improvement programmes in all areas of its business, Weetabix

intends to review arrangements with its current creative agencies."

The decision follows a similar review held in October last year by the

client for its media buying and planning agencies. Weetabix reduced its

media roster down to one when it appointed PHD to the centralised


Western Media was dropped from the business.

A decision on the creative account is expected in the next six
