Wembley promotes npower agreement with Isobel TV work

The partially built Wembley Stadium this week begins its first TV advertising by giving fans the chance to win tickets for major events for the next ten years.

The offer is the result of a tie-up between Wembley National Stadium, the stadium's operator, and npower, which has been named as its official energy supplier.

The deal allows npower to offer six guaranteed seats at Wembley until 2016 for events including the FA Cup Final and semi-finals, the FA Community Shield, the League Cup Final and the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final.

Isobel, the agency set up last year by former senior Banks Hoggins O'Shea/FCB executives, produced the 40- and 20-second ads. John Motson, the BBC football commentator, provides the voiceover for the spots, which feature a father and daughter apparently driving to a match.

However, their destination is not a football ground but an empty car park overlooking the stadium under construction. They have come to see where their seats will be.

The films were written by Dave Alexander, art directed by Rob Fletcher, and directed by David Hartley for Brave Films. Media is being planned and bought by Vizeum.
