The World: Bangkok - PepsiCo puts food and drinks media into review

PepsiCo Thailand has called a media review aimed at consolidating its beverage and food accounts. Separate pitches will be held for planning and buying duties.

The pitch will include the company's roster agencies: OMD, which handles its $18 million beverage business; MindShare, which handles the $5 million Frito-Lay account; and the Australian planning specialist Bellamy Hayden, which works with PepsiCo in Australasia.

The FMCG giant has denied that this will spark a wider alignment across the Asia-Pacific region.
