The World: Beijing - Agencies line up to vie for China Life Insurance task

China Life Insurance, the world's second-largest insurer, has put the creative assignment on its $26 million account into review.

The move by the state-owned giant will mark one of the biggest creative reviews so far this year in China. Many major advertisers are currently unwilling to change agencies with the Olympics soon to begin.

Ogilvy & Mather, Grey, JWT and Saatchi & Saatchi Beijing are expected to be among the contenders for the business.

China's life insurance market has been growing by 30 per cent a year since it was opened up to foreign companies in January 2005.
