The World: Berlin - Kraft hands global Tassimo account to TBWA

Kraft has added TBWA to its roster by appointing the Omnicom-owned network to handle the global creative assignment on its Tassimo hot-drinks maker.

The business, with revenue estimated at $2 million, moves from Ogilvy & Mather, a long-time Kraft roster agency that continues to handle brands including Maxwell House.

The TBWA agency in Berlin is expected to become the lead agency on the business, with the New York office handling US work.

Tassimo, a machine that brews individual cups of coffee, tea and hot chocolate, is sold in eight markets including the UK and Spain.
