The World: Chicago - Cramer-Krasselt wins North American Porsche brief

Porsche has appointed Cramer-Krasselt, based in Chicago, to handle the creative and media on its $40 million North American account.

The agency was given the nod ahead of the Interpublic-owned incumbent, Carmichael Lynch, in Minneapolis, and its sister shop, The Martin Agency, in Virginia.

David Pryor, Porsche North America's marketing chief, said: "Our decision to go with Cramer-Krasselt was based on seeking new and innovative approaches to marketing our unique products to a difficult-to-reach audience."

The review was precipitated both by Pryor's promotion, and the planned launch of a four-door car in 2009.
