The World: Delhi - RK Swarmy BBDO hires Kaura as general manager

Shaleena Kaura has joined RK Swarmy BBDO as the agency's general manager.

Reporting to Ajit Shah, the agency's executive director, she will replace Amar Whadwa, who left the position in October to take up the post of vice-president at Publicis India.

Kaura will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the agency, as well as leading the planning department.

She will handle clients such as ICI Dulux, Indian Airlines, BlackBerry and Sony.

She began her career at FCB-Ulka, working there for four years before moving to ACNielsen ORG-MARG, where she also spent four years, eventually becoming the research director.
