The World: Detroit - BBDO office closure sparks Chrysler speculation

BBDO has announced that it will close its Detroit office in January, signalling that the agency may be close to ending its relationship with Chrysler.

The closure will put around 485 employees' jobs under threat.

BBDO started working with Chrysler in 2000, although it is estimated that the account is worth less than half what it was. However, Chrysler Group says it will increase its marketing spend over the next three years to re-establish its dwindling Dodge, Jeep and Ram brands.
