The World: Detroit - Cadillac calls creative review in bid to reduce costs

Cadillac, the General Motors-owned luxury car brand, has called a review of its US advertising account.

The car manufacturer has appointed Ark Advisors to help oversee the process, and is understood to be using the review in an effort to help reduce its costs.

The incumbent on the account, the Boston-based independent agency Modernista!, will not repitch for the business.

It is not yet known whether the move will also threaten Modernista!'s relationship with Hummer, the only General Motors brand that the agency now works on.
