The World: Dubai - JWT names Foster as executive creative director

John Foster (pictured) has been appointed to the position of executive creative director for JWT's Gulf region. He joins the agency from Batey Advertising, where he has worked for the past two years.

Before joining Batey in 2003, Foster worked at Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore for two years as the agency's senior art director.

Commenting on the appointment, Craig Davis, the JWT chief creative officer, said: "The new JWT is all about having the best possible people on the ground and creating work that consumers will want to spend time with."

Foster will be based in Dubai and will partner Vatche Keverian, the chief executive of JWT's Gulf region.
