The World: Guangzhou - MEC wins $40m Chinese Wrigley business

MEC has beaten OMD to the market-leading Wrigley chewing gum account in China. The business was also contested by the incumbent, Starcom, which resigned the account earlier in the year.

The pitch was led by Bertilla Teo, the former MEC Singapore managing director and the new chief executive of MEC China.

Dominic Ng, the former head of MEC's Hong Kong base, will relocate to Guangzhou as the managing director and will lead the account.
