The World: Hamburg - Scholz & Friends wins Commerzbank business

Scholz & Friends Hamburg has won a portion of the advertising for Germany's second-largest private bank, Commerzbank. The agency will work on the bank's private customer business division and is briefed to develop a new overall identity for the institution.

Petra Borisch, the head of marketing for the Commerzbank division, said: "We have investigated all components of our positioning and brand identity. The concept from Scholtz & Friends Hamburg was convincing."

Meanwhile, the agency's Berlin office has been picked to handle the above-the-line account for the German retail chain Real SB Warenhaus. The agency will work on communications for the company's 288 stores, focusing on point of sale and promotions.
