The World: Helsinki - Clear Channel lands outdoor contract for the city

Helsinki, Finland's capital, has awarded its outdoor advertising contract to Clear Channel Outdoor.

The deal, the second-largest of its kind in the Nordic region, includes some 1,600 advertising structures and 5,000 advertising faces at central locations around the city.

Clear Channel was chosen following a review that included local and international competitors, including the incumbent, JCDecaux.

Timo Tammi, the Clear Channel Finland general manager, said the company was looking forward "to developing multiple outdoor formats, including digital, which will create flexible and tailored advertising solutions for advertisers and visibly renew the streetscapes of Helsinki".
