The World: Hong Kong - Sony appoints Euro RSCG to Vaio account

Euro RSCG has been appointed by Sony to handle the creative advertising for its Vaio computer range.

The agency, which already works with Sony on its Walkman, Bravia and Handycam accounts in Hong Kong, won the business following a pitch against undisclosed agencies.

It will now be responsible for launching a series of campaigns to promote Vaio products in Hong Kong, starting with an integrated campaign to help launch the brand's Vaio X Series.

BBDO Hong Kong was the previous incumbent on the Sony Vaio advertising account. The agency picked up the business in June last year after a pitch against JWT and M&C Saatchi.
