The World: Hong Kong - Universal McCann MD resigns after ten months

Victoria Henderson has quit her role as the managing director of Universal McCann's troubled China office after just ten months in the job.

Henderson, who has been with the Universal McCann network for 12 years, is moving to OMD to take up the position of international managing director. She will start in May.

Mike Cooper, the Asia-Pacific chief executive of Omnicom Media Group, said: "We are substantially upgrading our regional account management capabilities and we believe that, in Victoria, we have the best person in the region to lead this process. She is hugely energetic and passionate about our business and has a formidable reputation."
