The World: Kuala Lumpur - TBWA\ handed Haagen-Dazs creative account

General Mills, the food manufacturer, has appointed TBWA\Tequila Malaysia to handle the Asia-Pacific creative account for its Haagen-Dazs brand.

The agency was awarded the business without a pitch and will be responsible for launching a campaign to promote the product in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as overhauling the brand's website.

The campaign will run in South Korea, as well as in the South-East Asian markets such as Malaysia and the Philippines.

The appointment comes two months after Haagen-Dazs awarded its creative and media buying duties in Japan to TBWA\Hakuhodo.
