The World: Ljubljana - National Geographic launches edition in Slovenia

National Geographic is launching its 30th international local-language edition into the Slovenian market.

Launching on 24 April with an initial print run of 45,000, the magazine will be published under licence by Rokus Publishing. The Slovenian edition will be made up of a combination of syndicated and local content.

The magazine already has several local-language versions in Eastern Europe including Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Romania and the Czech Republic.

Overall, the 30 different local language versions of National Geographic sell around 2.1 million copies a month.
