The World: Manila - BBDO Guerrero beats JWT to Krispy Kreme business

BBDO Guerrero has been appointed by the doughnut chain Krispy Kreme to handle its creative account in the Philippines.

The agency is thought to have beaten JWT to the business, following a two-way pitch. Talks are ongoing to determine the full details of the brief.

Krispy Kreme has eight outlets in the Philippines, with plans to open up to 30 more as part of its international expansion in Asia.

The doughnut brand will also launch up to 35 stores over the next five years in China, while 20 new stores are also set to open in Malaysia.
